Getting back from Vestmanna
The boat operators set the sailing times, and the bus timetable is not built around them. Book the boat first, then work backwards to the bus — and check the last departure back to Tórshavn before you book an afternoon sailing.

- Route 100 is the western Streymoy service: Tórshavn, the Kollafjørður tunnel, Kvívík and Vestmanna.
- SSL notes that on certain trips you must change between routes 100 and 300 at the Effo station in Kollafjarðardalur; the timetable marks which.

Vestmanna in brief
Vestmanna is the harbour on the west coast of Streymoy that the bird-cliff boat trips leave from, and it is one of the simplest destinations to reach from Tórshavn without a car.
Vestmanna harbour. Route 100 runs here direct from Tórshavn, which makes it one of the few genuinely dark-sky villages you can reach on a scheduled bus without changing.

One bus each way and a boat in between makes this the most straightforward car-free excursion from the capital.
