What can stop this crossing working
- The travel card does not cover special event trips, including Ovastevna on Nólsoy, which SSL names explicitly.
- Sailings are adjusted around holidays and around St. Olaf's Days at the end of July.
Boarding
Turning up and getting on
- Travellers must arrive at least 10 minutes before departure and present a valid ticket when boarding.
For visitors
Getting to and from the berth
- This is the lowest-effort island day trip in the country: the berth is in Tórshavn itself, a walk from the bus terminal.
- It is covered by the Tourist Travel Card, unlike the Mykines crossing.
